Overview
Janssen needed a broadcast campaign for Invokana that would break through the noise of Canadian pharma advertising and connect with adults living with type 2 diabetes, not as patients defined by their condition, but as whole people living full lives.
We wrote and produced an original song for the campaign, potentially the first and only popular song created for a Canadian pharma ad. The music became the emotional backbone of the spot, turning what could have been a standard pharma commercial into a cultural moment. The campaign didn't just promote Invokana, it started a movement.
